The most common species that we rehabilitate are red tailed hawks, red shouldered hawks, American kestrels, barred owls, great horned owls, and Eastern screech owls – species that are very common in SW Indiana and that are easily found in areas of human activity. We occasionally treat barn owls, peregrine falcons, vultures and other more rare birds native to or passing through SW Indiana.
